Comic actor, Clement Bonnie alias Mr. Beautiful has branded fellow actor Kofi Adu alias Agya Koo as an ingrate and one who bites his benefactors.
Mr. Beautiful submits that Agya Koo has benefited from the largesse made available by President Mahama adding per the resourcing of the Tourism and Creative Arts Ministry and a directive to sector minister to include certain prominent arts persons on foreign work trips, Agya Koo has been sponsored to China, Malaysia and other Asian countries stressing “tell him that he’s an ingrate, he should remember the good things he’s benefited from under President John Mahama.â€

At Mepe in the North Tongu constituency in the Volta Region on Sunday where Mr. Beautiful was at hand to support the campaign launch of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, he mentioned “there has never been any government in this country’s history that has allocated money in its budget for the entertainment industry except that of John Mahama. President Mahama said he’ll make Ghana movie industry like that of South Africa, Nigeria and America.â€
Agya Koo prior to his endorsement of Nana Akufo-Addo had complained of not being featured in movies because of hardships producers faced adding his music band were also not getting invites to play gigs putting him a precarious situation hence the call for change.
