Asante Kotoko spokesperson Sarfo Duku has stated that the head coach, CK Akonnor recommended all the eleven(11), newly-signed players made by the club.
The Kumasi-based club have secured the signatures of eleven (11) new players ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup competition.
According to the club's PRO, all the eleven (11) players signed were desired by the head coach, CK Akonnor.

"The list of 26 players made up of 11 new signings and 15 old players were all signings by the coach. He and his technical team recommended them.†Duku told Oyerepa FM in an interview.
“Every new player on the list was recommended by the coach because he has been tracking them and has seen them play.â€
“He did the selection in consultation with his scouting team. Management and Executive Chairman has no hand in it, it’s the coach’s preference†He concluded.
Kotoko on Wednesday submitted to CAF a twenty-six man squad for the knockout stages of the 2018/19 Confederation Cup on.
