Coach Daniel Annor Walker has made a sensational return to Accra Great Olympics, almost a year after quitting the club to join premier league newcomers FC Samartex 1996 for the 2022/23 season.
Walker signed a two-year contract with the club on Monday just four days after FC Samartex confirmed they had parted ways with the experienced gaffer on mutual grounds with a year left on his contract.
During his tenure, he guided the Samreboi-based club to 10th place on the betPawa Premier League log.
Coach Walker takes over from Bismark Kobby Mensah, whose short-term contract expired last month. Mensah managed to narrowly save the Wonder Club from relegation, guiding them to a 14th-place finish in the 18-club league.
