Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that the departure of Niko Kovac to Bayern Munich key to him leaving Eintracht Frankfurt.
Kevin-Prince Boateng worked with Niko Kovac at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga but the gaffer moved to Bayern Munich in the summer following the departure of Jupp Heynckes.
The 31-year-old followed suit by joining Sassuolo in the Italian Serie A.

"One big reason why I left Eintracht Frankfurt was because Niko Kovac left. I joined the club because of him," Boateng told Bild.
Kevin-Prince Boateng was instrumental in Eintracht Frankfurt DFB Pokal triumph over Bayern Munich last season.
