The management of NEA Salamina has disclosed that the club's name has officially been changed to Wamanafo Mighty Royals FC.
In a statement signed by the club's, CEO Asante Daniel and General secretary Yirenchie V.R.Oppong the logo of the club have also been changed.
"In the board meeting of the above-mentioned Football Club, held on 17-10-2019, it was resolved that the Club change its name from NEA Salamina FC Ghana to Wamanafo Mighty Royals FC."
"In accordance with section 15 of the company Act 1993(Act 179) the club has reserved name Wamanafo Mighty Royals FC with the Register of the companies, of Ghana, and we therefore wish to inform the FA to amend all record to reflect the new name."
"We have also changed our logo as indicated below and our letterhead as attached to this letter."
