The National Service Secretariat (NSS) has released the postings of some 85,708 national service personnel to both public and private sectors for 2018/2019.
However, 2,101 prospective personnel have had their postings withheld because they applied with other people's ID cards, the secretariat has said.
Prior to this, the NSS warned prospective personnel that they would prosecute those who are found to have impersonated others in the registration process.
The Executive director of the NSS, Mustapha Yussif speaking at a press conference in Accra, on Wednesday, 18 July 2018, said personnel can access their postings on Wednesday but can only print out the document a day after.
He also noted that NSS personnel must book appointments online before they can go to the various centers to register.
This, according to him, is to streamline the registration process to prevent overcrowding at the centers like it happens every year.
Students who graduate from accredited tertiary institutions in the country are required by law to do a one-year national service.
