Former Asante Kotoko defender Abdul Baba Rahman came off the bench to play for Schalke 04 in their 1-0 win over Lokomotiv Moscow in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old Chelsea loanee was brought on in the 16th minute as a replacement for Moroccan Hamza Mendyl.
Baba Rahman had not appeared on the Schalke matchday team-sheet since warming the bench for the Gelsenkirchen side in their 3-1 loss against FC Porto in late November.
After being left out of the squad for their 2-1 home loss against Borussia Dortmund during the weekend, he was named in the squad for the home tie against the Russians.

He climbed off the bench to take the place of the Moroccan and shored up the backline as they nicked a crucial win to reach the next stage of the qualification.
